Use of chromium boride

Used as wear-resistant and high-temperature oxidation-resistant coating and neutron absorption coating in nuclear reactor. Used for ceramics, melt-blown on metal and ceramic surfaces to form wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant films. Used for spraying semiconductor films. Chromium boride and alumina are sintered or hot-pressed in micro-oxidation atmosphere, which has practical value of high-temperature wear resistance.
