Hafnium silicide


Basic information

 

Hafnium silicide is an inorganic substance, belonging to transition metal silicide, with the chemical formula of HfSi2 (isomer)

Characteristics of hafnium silicide: preparation of zirconium silicide by spark discharge plasma sintering. In addition, hafnium silicide nanomaterials have potential applications in the field of catalysis. Hafnium silicide products are characterized by high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area and high surface activity.


Product Description


Hafnium silicide is a kind of transition metal silicide, which is a kind of refractory intermetallic compound. Due to its unique physical and chemical properties, it has been successfully used in complementary metal oxide semiconductor devices, film coatings, block structure modules, electric heating elements, thermoelectric materials, photovoltaic materials and other fields. (1) Hafnium silicide is most commonly used in ceramic materials to manufacture various high-temperature components and functional components;

(2) It can prepare silicon carbide hafnium silicide tantalum silicide (SiC – HfSi2 – TaSi2) ablation resistant composite coating carbon fiber reinforced carbon (C/C) composites, which can be used for gas turbine engine structural components, nose cone cap of space shuttle, wing leading edge, etc. These components are mostly working under high temperature and oxygenation environment.;

(3) An organic electroluminescent device can be prepared. The package cover encapsulates the light emitting layer and cathode on the anode. The package cover includes a silicon nitride layer and a barrier layer formed on the surface of the silicon nitride layer;

(4) A silicon germanium alloy based thermoelectric element can be prepared. The interfaces in the silicon germanium alloy based thermoelectric element are well bonded, no cracks and obvious diffusion phenomenon are found at the interface, the contact resistance is small, the thermal contact state is good, and it can withstand a long time of high temperature accelerated test;

(5) Prepare a high-temperature and oxidation resistant metal ceramic composite coating, which is characterized in that the coating is composed of refractory metals, refractory carbides and intermetallic compounds, and the coating thickness is 10 μ m~50 μ m;

The products that have been industrialized are 0.6 μ m、0.8 μ m、5-10 μ m、200 μ m. Both can be provided at tonnage level, and can be customized according to other granularity of customers. Further reading

Their nanomaterials show special electrical, optical, magnetic and thermoelectric properties, and even have potential application value in the field of catalysis. However, traditional preparation methods such as metallurgical methods or physical methods cannot meet the requirements for the preparation of transition metal silicide nanomaterials.
