Use of Alumina sol

Alumina sol has the characteristics of weak acidity, small nanometer particle size, large specific surface area, high transparency, uniform dispersion, long-term stability, non-agglomeration, stickiness, thixotropy, adsorbability, ready-to-use and so on, and is widely used. Compared with alumina powder, alumina sol has the characteristics of convenient use, no dust pollution, convenient transportation and easy storage, and has greater application advantages.

(1) Application of inorganic fiber and refractory industry

Aluminum sol has adhesive property, film-forming property and heat resistance. It can be used as a binder for inorganic fibers such as glass fiber, asbestos and ceramics, and can be sprayed at will. It can also be mixed with refractory powder or inorganic fiber to prepare high-temperature refractory. It can also be made into ceramic paper, which can be used in the fields of demoulding materials, smelting outlet groove materials or thermal insulation materials.

（2）Application in ceramic industry

Aluminum sol has fire resistance, cohesiveness and film-forming ability. Adding it to ceramic utensils can increase the strength of green body. Various ceramic products can be made by mixing ceramic glaze with aluminum sol, and then forming and calcining.

(3) Application in textile fiber industry

Aluminum sol can be used to treat textile fiber products, which can obtain good antistatic and dust-proof properties. It can also improve the elasticity and smoothness of the fiber, increase the friction coefficient, and improve the strength, impact resistance and wear resistance of the fiber.

(4) Application in industrial cloth and fluff industry

Coating a layer of aluminum silicate compound sol on the surface of industrial filter cloth and fluff can make it antistatic, smooth, feel good, firm and wear-resistant.

The solid content is 10%, 20%, 35%, and the PH range of the product is acidic and alkaline. It is also possible to adjust the production process to control the particle size, solid content and PH value of alumina sol according to the demand. All three indexes are customized by customers. The standard packaging specifications are 2 kg and 25 kg, and the packaging specifications can be customized according to the customer's feeding quantity.
