Storage: Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. The warehouse temperature should not exceed 37°C It should be stored separately from oxidants and edible chemicals, and should not be mixed. Keep the container sealed. Keep away from kindling and heat sources. Lightning protection equipment must be installed in the warehouse. The exhaust system should be equipped with grounding device for electrostatic discharge.
Use of silica sol
The basic component of silica sol is amorphous silica, which is evenly dispersed in water with particle sizes ranging from tens of nanometers. It is a good inorganic binder, and has the advantages of non-toxicity, tasteless, high temperature resistance, heat insulation, good insulation performance, large specific surface area, strong adsorption capacity and low thermal expansion coefficient. Compared with silica powder, silica sol has the characteristics of convenient use, no dust pollution, convenient transportation and easy storage, and has greater application advantages.
(1) It is used as a binder for various refractory materials. When the moisture of silica sol evaporates, colloidal particles are firmly attached to the surface of the object, and silicon-oxygen bonding is formed among the particles. It has the characteristics of strong adhesion and high temperature resistance (1500℃-1600℃).
(2) Silica sol has certain film-forming and dissolving characteristics, and its water resistance and heat resistance are obviously better than those of organic coatings. The coating film is compact and hard, and it does not generate static electricity. It is difficult for all kinds of dust in the air to adhere. It can be used in the coating industry to make the coating firm, and has the functions of anti-fouling, anti-aging, fire prevention, etc.
(3) Used for thin shell precision casting, it can make the shell shape strong and the casting finish high. Its molding quality is better than that of sodium silicate, and replacing ethyl silicate molding can reduce the cost and improve the operating conditions.
(4) Silica sol has high specific surface area and can be used for catalyst manufacturing and catalyst carrier.
(5) Used in paper industry, it can be used as cellophane anti-sticking agent, pretreatment agent for photographic paper, anti-slip agent for cement bags, etc.
(6) Used as sizing agent in textile industry, it can be used with oil to treat the spinnability of wool and rabbit hair, reduce broken ends, prevent flying flowers, improve the finished product rate and increase economic benefits.
(7) Used as silicon steel sheet treatment agent, kinescope dispersant, floor wax anti-sliding, etc.
Product advantage
Forsman can provide silica hydrosol and silica ethanol sol, and can produce products with different particle sizes, such as nano-scale, submicron-scale, micron-scale, etc. The products that have been industrially produced are 15 nm, 35 nm, 75 nm, 220 nm, 100-140 nm, etc., which can all be provided at tonnage level. The distribution range of solid content is 10-40%, and the PH range of products is both acidic and alkaline.
