Application of sulfide

Cobalt disulfide: with 3D valence electron shell structure, cobalt disulfide has pyrite structure and excellent optical, electrical and magnetic properties. High purity cobalt disulfide powder can be used as electrode material of thermal battery. On the one hand, the maximum internal temperature of thermal battery can reach 600 ℃ while the decomposition temperature of cobalt disulfide is greater than 650 ℃, which is conducive to long-life thermal battery;On the other hand, the resistivity of cobalt disulfide is 0.002 Ω· cm, which is conducive to the high current discharge of thermal battery.

Molybdenum disulfide: molybdenum sulfide products have good chemical and thermal stability.It is soluble in aqua regia, insoluble in water and dilute acid. It has no chemical reaction with general metal surface and does not corrode rubber materials.It can be used for the maintenance and lubrication of spare parts for processing and storage. It can form a dry lubricating film with high efficiency. It is a special material for reducing wear and friction technology.Its applications include:

(1) Application in lubricants: it can not only improve the large non seizure load of lubricating oil, but also reduce the wear and improve the friction performance of materials. The mechanism is that nano molybdenum disulfide is more likely to have friction chemical reaction than ordinary molybdenum disulfide, forming a lubricating film rich in sulfur and molybdenum, which plays an anti-wear role. The mechanism of reducing friction and wear of molybdenum disulfide is completely different from that of lubricating grease,It can be used in the field of high friction and maintenance, such as in the field of high friction and maintenance.

(2) Application in composite materials: PS / MoS2 nanocomposites, molybdenum disulfide with certain conductivity is used as conductive filler to improve the electrical properties of polystyrene, so that it has a certain antistatic ability, but does not change its insulation.

(3) Nano molybdenum disulfide is a catalyst for coal liquefaction. Compared with general molybdenum disulfide, the number of atoms on the surface of nano molybdenum disulfide is significantly increased, resulting in more sulfur vacancies, which makes its catalytic activity and selectivity higher. It can be used as a high activity hydrogenation catalyst for heavy oil conversion and oil refining. Nano molybdenum disulfide is used as a catalyst in the methanation of carbon monoxide, It has high selectivity and reactivity.
