Uses of chromium oxide

Chromium trioxide hydrate, commonly known as "water chromium green", has excellent light, heat, chemical corrosion and other properties, and has high hiding power

(1) It can be used to smelt metal chromium and chromium carbide, and used as a glaze for enamel and ceramics.

(2) Used as a colorant for artificial leather, building materials, etc., used in the manufacture of light-fast coatings, green polishing paste and special inks for printing banknotes, and used as a catalyst for organic synthesis.

(3) It can also use the hard nature as a greasy abrasive material such as green oil, and grind the bottom plate and surface polishing during chrome plating and nickel plating. Chromium trioxide can also be made into chromium-magnesium or magnesium-chromium refractory bricks.
