Uses of silica

The chemical properties of silica are relatively stable. Soluble in caustic soda and hydrofluoric acid, with high electrical insulation, porosity. The inner surface area is large, and there is a large dispersion force in the raw rubber. Hydrophobic treated with surface modification is easily soluble in oil.

(1) It can be used as a good reinforcing agent for synthetic rubber, and its reinforcing performance is second only to carbon black. If it is ultra-refined and properly treated, it is even better than carbon black.

(2) Used as a resin additive to improve resin moisture-proof and insulating properties. Filling plastic products can increase slip resistance and oil resistance.

(3) Silica has good fluidity. Mainly used as lubricant, anti-sticking agent, flow aid. It is especially suitable for granulation of oils and extracts.
