Use of Product

Yttrium sol is a dispersion system of high purity yttrium oxide in water, which has good transmittance, low impurity content and good stability. The main composition of yttrium sol is solid yttrium oxide, which can be dissolved in water to make liquid sol of different concentration. Yttrium has good chemical inertia and does not react with Hf, Cr, Ni, Nb, Ti and other elements in superalloys, so it is a special binder for investment casting. Yttrium oxide sol has the characteristics of stickiness, thixotropy, easy dispersion, water-soluble reversibility, suspension, positive charge, adsorption, stability and so on. Yttrium sol is mainly prepared from yttrium metal alkoxides, oxides or inorganic salts.

Product advantage

Fosman plant can produce yttrium oxide sol with solid content of 14 % and PH value of 7-8. It can be provided at tonnage level and can be customized by customers with other solid content.
