(1)The oxygen-containing groups on the surface of graphene can form hydrogen bonds with water and OH-,and the 1-2 layers of crystal-extensioned graphene can sensitively sense the ion density on the surface,which can be used as a good pH sensor.
(2)The surface of graphene can adsorb gas molecules,and different gas molecules can act as electron donors or acceptors to cause changes in electrical conductivity,which is similar to the mechanism of solid-state gas sensors.
(3)In terms of hydrogen storage materials, alloys such as LaNi5,TiFe and MgNi all have hydrogen storage capacity.Among them,La and Ti alloys are hydrogen storage materials at low temperature (<150℃),but their hydrogen storage capacity is low (<2wt%).Mg alloy is a high temperature hydrogen storage material, although the theoretical hydrogen storage capacity is high,but its adsorption and desorption kinetics is not stable.In addition,alloys are not only expensive but also heavy,which greatly limits their practical applications.In the development and research of new hydrogen storage materials,it has been found that carbon nanotubes,graphene and other materials have very good hydrogen storage capacity,and the price of these materials is low,which can greatly reduce the cost.
(4)Graphene has excellent electrical conductivity and is a good electrode material.
